Admission is FREE — donations accepted, including new or gently used shoes as part of our Mister Rogers Neighborhood Shoe Drive, for donation to Soles4Souls. View the full list of donation items accepted.
» Children and parents alike will learn the importance of community-focused kindness and sharing by taking part in a variety of service projects benefiting local nonprofits.
» Families will also be able to explore Dallas Heritage Village, enjoy a performance by the Laughter League, participate in hands-on activities in the KERA Kids Zone, meet new friends and take photos with Daniel and Katerina!

• Creating get well cards for pediatric patients in the hospital
• Assembling toiletry and craft kits for North Texas neighbors
Be My Neighbor Day is free and open to all. However, families are encouraged to bring the following items to donate:
• New and gently used shoes for children and adults (more information below)
Daniel Tiger and Mister Rogers have a lot in common. So as part of our yearlong 50th anniversary celebration of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and our upcoming Daniel Tiger Be My Neighbor Day, we’re collecting your new and gently-worn children’s, men’s and women’s shoes and donating them to Soles4Souls. We’ll also take new socks!
Bring the shoes and socks to be donated to the Be My Neighbor Day on October 13 at at Dallas Heritage Village.
Soles4Souls creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.
